Hello, this is me playing a lvl13 Guardian in the ign AoC beta, just made it to show some of the beautiful world of Hyboria, though the quality is lost quite a bit on youtube i think you’ll be able to get a general idea of the game.
This was running on a E8400, BFG8800GTS, 4gb RAM and Vista 64-bit. FPS varies from 40-64 in this beta.
Many people do have problems with the performance side of AoC, the main on i get is hitching/stutter or whatever it may be called (the game will freeze for a second then resume) However i urge everyone to bear inmind that this is basically a stress testing beta and problems should be expected, and should most certaintly see an improvement come launch, and continued imrpovement there after. If you can look past the present performance problems Age of Conan really looks like it will be an amazing experience. See you in Hyboria and hope you enjoy the Video :)”
